This movie is 230 x 170 pixels, 256 colors, about 3.3 megabytes uncompacted and about 47 seconds long. Drop-launch a movie onto the application (or choose a movie from the open dialog). You will be prompted for a location for the resulting movie file. You can't overwrite the original movie because it's still in use at this point. This is a very simple program with practically no user interface. If an error occurs, it just beeps at you (QuickTime isn't installed, not enough memory, etc.). Well, here is one, in QuickTime format. This is a demo, or more likely, a commercial for the Musician Pat Ortman. The song on this short demo was written, performed and produced by Pat Ortman. This version, Double/yü.s is a smaller version of the original movie. It is identical to the original except that the frames in the first half are not dithered, resulting in a significant reduction in QuickTime file size. Double/yü shows some great animation of a car like think going down the street, and through a barrior. Check it out. My words don't do justice! Use Apple's Simple Player to view. Requires QuickTime. Each catalog entry includes a title, description, and color thumbnail picture of the movie's "poster frame". Just double click on an entry to play it. EasyPlay will find a movie on a shared drive and play it. It also displays a picture of the movie with some info about the movie size and a brief explanation of what it is (user data). Requires System 7 and the QuickTime Extension. This application and source code require that the QuickTime extension be loaded. It should work under any configuration that QuickTime works with. You take and combine these movies with your QuickTime movies and viola, you have a way to put rolling credits at the end. To create your credits, first create a text file with your credits (TextEdit works nicely for this). Then open CreditMaker. You can change things like the font, font style and color and other stuff. Then choose Make Credits... from the file menu. First it asks you for the name of the final Credits movie, then it asks you to find the text file with your credits. Viola, that's it, the program will create the files from there. Simple and fun! This updated version fixes some minor bugs. From a simple ball, hands and legs stretch, and the ball becomes a mushroom. Finally, it becomes an original ball. The viewing size is 160X120, and the movie is 3 seconds. 16bit color.
